I am a boy of less confidence. I always hate running. However, as we all know, the students of Grade Nine have to take part in the sports exam. At that moment, I just wanted to give up, but my parents encouraged me: "Impossible is nothing," "you could challenge yourself!"

So with the encouragement of them, I tried my best to run and insisted on running. When I got to the finishing line, I felt proud of myself, though I didn't get the good mark, I knew I won. I created a miracle for myself and I was so proud of myself!

I’m a member of my family. We always help each other and we always face difficulties together. When my father lost his job, my mum and I always encouraged him to be confidence. When I’m still writing homework at eleven o’clock, my parents will give me a cup of milk and a piece of bread. They won’t sleep until I have finished all homework. We love each other and I’m glad to be a member of my family.

As a student, I think it important for me to protect myself from dangerous fire situations. First of all, I must calm down as soon as possible, for panicking is of no help. Then, as is known to all, calling 119 immediately is the most effective way to save myself. What’s more, it is best to take the stairs instead of elevators. In conclusion, with positive attitudes and sufficient preparations, I will be able to protect myself from fires.

It's exciting to imagine what the happy life will be like.

 In modern life we have many inventions which have made great influence on us. They can work out various problems millions of times faster than a person can. As for me, I want to invent a special machine which can help us to cope with the rubbish. Due to the badly polluted environment, it is quite difficult for us to breathe fresh air and drink clean water. Therefore, if I can invent the machine, I hope that it will change the rubbish into some kind of fertilizer, and help the crops grow fast. The above problem would be solved. I’m ready

I have always been longing for studying abroad, which is full of challenges as well as opportunities. Therefore, what I should do is to get ready anytime.

As they say, chance favors the prepared mind. I always get myself ready both physically and mentally. First, I insist on taking exercise regularly to build up my body. Besides, I spare no effort to learn English well in order to integrate into the new environment as soon as possible. Last but not least, it is necessary to cultivate a shinny optimistic attitude towards difficulties.

Life is full of ups and downs, so is my middle school life.

I used to be a weak girl who had lost heart in various physical activities. Every time I was faced with a physical exam, I couldn't help sweating and feeling nervous. However, after I read an article about a man who was born without arms and legs, everything changed. Instead of losing hope and giving up, he managed to live like a normal person. Through his story, I suddenly realized that there is always hope and nothing is impossible for a willing heart. Unexpectedly, I finally started to make progress in physical activities!

My progress

I used to be poor at English, especially in reading and writing, which I consider extremely difficult. The biggest problem was that after reading a passage, I couldn’t fully understand it, which makes me feel very depressed and frustrated. But I kept on reading difficult English articles instead of just giving up. And I also practiced English writing whenever I had a chance. Gradually, I made remarkable progress in English and gained a lot of confidence through my constant effort. As you can imagine, nothing makes me prouder than feeling my progress in English. Don't Judge people by their looks.

As an old saying goes, don′t judge people by their looks. I didn't recognize the true meaning of it until last year.

In my neighborhood came a man with a scary face. The first several times I came across him, I always ran way quickly, with hands covering my eyes. Later, I knew from my parents that he made a lot of effort to keep our neighborhood clean as a volunteer, which provides a better living environment for us. Realizing the mistake I made, I went to say sorry to him. And I really appreciated him for helping me learn that a person's internal beauty is always the most valuable part instead of his appearance.

Everyone can be special

As is well-known, the world is of great surprise if you have been working hard.

Owing to the outbreak of COVID-19, we students are made to learn online at home. Online courses are convenient but maths is hard to understand. I felt disappointed at me and even I hated myself. Luckily, my teacher found something wrong with me, encouraging me that every one is special. Even if you're poor at your maths, You can master it well if you spend time and effort doing it. Now I have made great progress because of my teacher's  encouragement.

I strongly hold that I am special. Only by hard-working we can make a difference.
